What is Silent Sunday?

You work long hours every week. Your body accumulates tension, your mind gets stressed, and sometimes you wonder... what is the point of all this constant doing?

Silent Sunday is an opportunity to press pause. Imagine a quiet premium space, where experienced facilitators help you shift your attention from the external chaos of modern life into your internal space.

Based on scientific research of what drives human well being, this experience will leave your mind calm and your emotions bathed in gratitude. You will leave ready to face Monday with a smile on your face.

Science based (no belief required)

Humanity has developed well being practices for thousands of years, but it is only in the last few years that the scientists have focused their efforts in finding out what actually works.

"We’ve studied more than one thousand people, from ages eight to 80, and found that people who practice gratitude consistently report ...  to sleep longer and feel more refreshed upon waking."

- Robert A. Emmons, Ph.D.,  professor of psychology at the University of California, Davis

"Mindful meditation can help ease psychological stresses

- Harvard Medical School referring to JAMA Internal Medicine findings

"Theory and research suggest that people can increase their happiness through simple intentional positive activities, such as ... practicing kindness."

- Sonja Lyubomirsky, Kristin Layous from University of California, Riverside

The graph below shows scientific journal publications on "mindfulness" in the last 10 years has accelerated exponentially:

For you to benefit from the scientific research without having to go through countless jargon-filled papers, we have selected and simplified the most effective exercises with proven well being impact.

Therefore at Silent Sunday:

  • No belief required, all beliefs are welcome
  • All activities are based on scientific research
  • Everyone is welcome, it is an inclusive experience for all human beings

"This event was definitely worth 10x more, and I received tons of messages through out. I've been questioning how to be strong and sensitive at the same time. But I found the answer to that question in the end of the event. It was such a gift. Great work!!" ~ M. Takeda
